TAG launches new website for Lindsay Ephgrave PR

Having worked with Lindsay Ephgrave on a number of PR campaigns for TAG, we already knew each other well and understood the business model that would help promote Lindsay's services to the crowded PR marketplace.

Without the need for overly complex graphics or snazzy design, this website has to communicate effecitvely the core services available to Lindsay's customers, as well as attracting potential new clients with an impressive track record and testimonials.

The advantages of a simple website are that the design doesn't get in the way of the key message and that information is easy to find and extract. No fuss. No bother.

Lindsay has already received glowing feedback on the new site and we look forward to continuing to work together with her in the coming months and years as our respecitve businesses grow and develop.

For more information, visit Lindsay's website at www.lindsayephgravepr.com.

Sun Mousse selects TAG as its digital agency for 2012.

As we all know, nothing boosts your sense of wellbeing quite like the feeling of the warm sun against your skin on a lovely summer’s day. Unfortunately, as we know, the sun can also be extremely damaging to your skin if it isn’t treated with respect.

The Sun Mousse suncare system, unlike ordinary sunscreens, is rapidly absorbed into the skin where it works within the epidermis to provide immediate and effective, water resistance protection from the sun’s UVA and UVB rays. And because it’s a mousse, it is easy to apply an even cover which leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth without any white or sticky residue.

TAG will be working with the brand team to develop their Social Media platforms, website, online competitions and other digital content throughout the forthcoming season.

Marketing Manager Christian Hankins says, “We’re all very excited to be working with the creative team at TAG. They have come up with some great visuals which I know are going to help drive traffic and increase sales for The Sun Mousse brand in the coming months.”

Account Director at TAG Simon Wheeler says, “This is another fantastic client to add to TAG’s portfolio. We love the way the brand positions itself as slightly to the left of centre, trustworthy and dependable, but with a real sense of its own personality. We can’t wait to see the results.”

The first job is a beach photo-shoot. TAG is eagerly awaiting the invitation to the Maldives!

TAG creates animated movie for ZigZag Doors

When TAG were approached by ZigZag Doors of Peterborough, the challenge was a simple one. How do we show visitors to our website, exactly what we mean by concertina doors? How can we possibly demonstrate the opening and closing mechanism, without shooting hundreds of still images?

TAG's solution was to visit the national showroom where these doors are installed in Milton Keynes, film the process using a willing volunteer, using a hi-def video camera. The movie clip was then converted to multiple stills, each one taken into Photoshop and edited to create a silhouette effect, then stitched back together and processed into a smooth 45 second long animation.

The final video can be seen on TAG's youtube channel here http://youtu.be/y0dCi1Iy6xo

TAG designs new packaging for Mr Fothergill's Lawn Seed

From the stable block of Lillie Langtry's former Newmarket home in 1978, Mr Fothergill's began selling seed to garden shops and centres. Today, the company is one of the most respected in the market and they now supply to international markets and direct to the customer through mail order.

As gardening products, plants and seeds are now widely available in DYI stores and supermarkets, Mr Fothergills needed to 'up their game' and stand out from the crowd once more,  so they came to TAG to discuss a revolutionary redesign of the packaging.

The product name on the different packs has been created out of the a grass image which reflects the type of lawn the seeds will grow into -  ‘a novel and interesting way of communicating the end product in the product name’ said Patrick Ooi, lead designer on this project.

ELC delivers an innovative approach to care commissioning

ELC is an innovative approach to creating person-centred care and commissioning. This website is a resource for those who are interested in learning how ELC can help them to become more person centred in the way they manage health businesses and care systems.

ELC has been commissioned by the Department of Health to undertake a demonstration pilot of ELC in partnership with Healthworks (a pathfinder clinical commissioning group) and PHD cic in Birmingham.

"We believe that ELC can make a big difference to the way we do things in the NHS. ELC is already changing the conversations commissioners have with local people; the conversations they have with providers and the conversations around the commissioning table. It is also changing the way providers design services and talk to their customers and the NHS. ELC is helping support a move towards a world where people's experience of care matters deeply; and we can all walk in the shoes of the people who use our services more easily." - Georgina Craig, ELC.

We want you to tell all your colleagues and friends all about ELC. Please pass it on today.

Maxavita launches new human joint supplement Revitaflex

Maxavita launches new human joint supplement Revitaflex

Equine supplement company Maxavita has just launched a new joint care supplement for people. Revitaflex, a green lipped mussel supplement to help maintain joint and bone health, was developed following feedback on Maxavita’s previous human joint care product, Pernamax Caplets, which suggested the need for a new, improved product.

Revitaflex contains Maxavita’s Green Lipped Mussel extract plus Collagen to provide nutritional support to joints in one daily gel capsule. Revitaflex capsules are small, virtually odourless and tasteless: an improvement on the tablets of Pernamax Caplets which had been described as ‘large’ and ‘fishy’ by customers.

The new product packaging was designed and created by FMCG specialists TAG Brand.

New website goes live for bio-tech company, F-Star

When local bio-tech company F-Star approached TAG to design and build their new website – we recognised immediately the need for a new brand identity. Starting with the corporate logo, we redesigned the identity including iconography, typography, colour palette and image guidelines.

These were then applied to office stationery and the new website which has just gone live.

The CEO of F-Star said, "The team at TAG did a fantastic job in developing the new web site for F-star. They guided us through the design process while making sure our comments and thoughts were included as a key part of the design. They were tolerant of our busy schedules and tactfully moved the project forward while working around our limited time. TAG also tolerated and managed our changes and edits very well throughout the process. The cost of the project was highly competitive, it was completed on time and we are very pleased with the result. I have no hesitation in recommending TAG to anyone."

With a professional, contemporary and corporate image, F-Star can now compete in the market for the funding to take its antibody research to the next level.

Masterchef comes to Cottenham, Cambridgeshire!

Well, not really. But it felt a bit like that when our newest client La Doria commissioned a week of photography for a range of pasta and soup meals.

Each meal had to be meticulously cooked, prepared and dressed on-site in our Cottenham studio, before being set, lit and photographed by our very own resident image guru.. Dave!

The resulting images will be used in La Doria's marketing and branding activity over the coming year and will help to promote their new range of products.

More information can be found about La Doria by clicking here http://www.ldhltd.com/.

And you can get a fascinating insight into the whole process from cookery to photography by visiting our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/tagcambridge.

TAG wins contract to rebrand The Sugar Bureau

With our extensive branding experience, TAG are ideally positioned to be able to undertake a project of this complexity and subtlety. The existing brand mark has been in place for many years and no longer represents the high-tech scientific nature of the Sugar Bureau's work.

The new brand is under development right now and will be launched towards the end of the year. Keep an eye out for more news and progress reports to see how this fascinating organisation will be propelling itself into the 21st Century.

Taylor Rose Law selects TAG for brand refresh

Taylor Rose Law were in a predicament. They needed to be taken seriously as a professional supplier of legal services - but wanted at the same time, to portray an image of relaxed informality which is unique in their sector. "We don't want to be like other solicitors" they said at the outset of the project.

Part of this personality will come through the redevelopment of their logo and website - two projects already completed. But the rest is made up of the tone of voice and use of imagery which will pervade their marketing materials - both on and offline. The first brochure (on conveyancing) with the new style is off to press now and will be on the shelves in days. The new website will be ready to launch in a few weeks. Keep watching this space for more news.

TAG designs new campaign for Norbrook Pharmaceuticals

TAG was commissioned by Norbrook to design and print a range of new materials to help promote Levacide, their parasite prevention solution for cattle.

A global animal and human pharmaceuticals company, Norbrook has recently opened an operational base in England for developing marketing strategy and materials and to help promote the products to the local farming and veterinary audience.

TAG is delighted to welcome this new client to our customer base and looks forward to working closely with the marketing team over the coming months and years. One of TAG's strengths is the fact that many of our customers have been with us for decades. Graphic design, like many other forms of relationship, needs a degree of mutual trust and respect which grows with age. This is something that appeals to many new and prospective customers when they contact us for a briefing. If you'd like to take advantage of our years of experience, don't hesitate to get in touch.

When it comes to premium printed literature - there is no one who knows better than TAG how to produce something truly jaw-dropping. For 25 years we've been desigining and producing simply beautiful design which not only looks great, but which communicates a message effectively.

When Trek Highway Services came to us they wanted an agency who could offer this traditional printed solution, coupled with high-tech, online, digital creative capabilities. TAG fit the bill.

Our creative team designed a look and feel which would work seamlessly across both offline and online materials and then applied this to a suite of literature including folders, inserts, brochures, proposal documents, report covers, DVD's, business cards, office stationery etc. The production was of the highest quality with a range of finishes including matt lamination, spot UV varnish, die-cutting and embossing all used to maximise the impact of the piece and to give it the prestigious feel the customer demanded.

It's one of the most effective and low-cost ways of reaching a large audience with your message, whether it's a general branding message, a special offer, discounts or time-sensitive deals. E-Newsletters are the best way to reach your customers.

TAG offers bespoke facebook design for business

For some time now, Facebook has provided the facility to upload sections of code and build your own bespoke content on your company Facebook page. There are very few creative agencies however, who know how to do this - and more importantly - who know the best way of approaching this bespoke content.

From welcome splash pages, competition pages, online catalogues, e-brochures... just about anything that can be displayed electronically, can now be built into your company's Facebook profile page.

With more and more companies choosing not to promote their website in advertising, but just relying instead on their Facebook page - the need to customise that presence and make it engaging for the target audience has never been more important.

TAG creates DM campaign for Cambridge Property Search

When local relocation consultancy Cambridge Property Search wanted to help generate new business opportunities - they turned to TAG to help implement a strategic marketing campaign.

From the outset, TAG helped to determine the target audience, the key messages and the suitable tone for the piece to take. It was decided to create a series of 4 postcards which would be sent consecutively to senior managers and HR directors of local companies. These individuals are often responsible for arranging key personnel transfers from other parts of the Country to Cambridge, or from overseas.

We will be carefully monitoring the traffic to the website and new business opportunities to measure the success of the campaign, and will use this information to help shape future marketing activity.

Working in partnership with Granite5 - a local web development team - TAG worked on the graphical user interface, website structure, content and front-end build before passing the approved visuals over to Granite5 to build, test and implement.

The team at TAG are just as comfortable working with your own development team or programmer, delivering the creative brand elements for which we are so renowned. Or alternatively, we have our own team of database and website developers able to deliver a complete end-to-end solution in-house.

From creative concept to hosting, we do it all.

TAG wins contract for new law firm website

Following a competitive pitch against some of the region's heavyweight agencies, TAG were selected to redesign the website for Taylor Rose - a leading Peterborough law firm and part of the Jaggards group.

The project has begun with a review of their existing branding which, following a design critique by our branding guru's, is being evolved to bring a fresh and contemporary look the company.

The new website will be built over the next few weeks and should be live by the end of June. Watch this space for more news of the forthcoming release.

Another local company chooses TAG to redesign their website

Trek Highway Services often punch above their weight in competing with much bigger players in their sector - winning contracts and delivering exceptional service along the way. When they wanted to 'up their game' and portray a more professional image - they turned to TAG.

We are designing and producing a suite of sales literature which will help set them apart from the competition and present Trek as a major player. This new approach is also being rolled out into a new corporate website which is being built over the coming weeks and will be live in the Summer.

Website goes live for Morrison Utility Services

The website redesign project began last November when TAG beat off competition from scores of other agencies. Since then TAG has designed a new Content Management System for the company, with Morrison Utility Services now able to input their own content and images to their new-look website.
Simon Wheeler, Account Director at TAG, explained: “The total project cost was a relatively small investment for the company, but with huge potential returns as it is used as the main information point for potential contracts and clients.

Rather than using ‘off the shelf’ systems, everything we do is developed bespoke to our clients’ requirements. This means that the customer doesn’t end up paying for features they don’t really need and helps to keep the overall cost of ownership down.”

Morrison Utility Services provides, replaces, repairs and maintains the utility network infrastructure, including telecommunication cables and water and gas pipes.

The team at Morrison Utility Services said, “We are very pleased to have worked with TAG to redevelop our website.  The team has produced a site that provides us with a strong and clear online presence for our business.  They fully understood our brief and excelled in their delivery of it.”

On the back-end the site is fully CMS-driven using PHP and a MySQL database with everything being custom developed for the client.

TAG designs 3D animated logo sting for Cambs University Press

TAG, which has been creating marketing and packaging solutions for household names for 24 years has most recently been brought on board by Cambridge University Press to design and programme a 3D rendered animation logo ‘sting’ – to enable the company to bring their logo to life within all their electronic and video media.

Simon Wheeler, Account Director at TAG. “Cambridge University Press gave us their logo as a picture, in a traditional 2D format, and we have then used very complex 3D software to create layers, depth, different colours and angles to show how this 2D logo would look if it were a real object in your hand. Once we did this we then had to render that object, again using very specialist software, which turned it from a series of still images into a cohesive three dimensional object. Only then can you move that object around in space and add lighting to it so that it’s illuminated from a particular angle - just as you would with a real object in the studio.

“With technology advancing so quickly and becoming more interactive, social media becoming a norm, this type of 3D logo will only become more popular. The wonderful thing is that with 3D you are really only limited by your imagination in terms of what can be achieved – you can add sound, voice-overs, opt for HD, standard definition or widescreen format.”

New Dunlopillo website launched by TAG

Huntingdon bed manufacturer Dunlopillo commissioned TAG to design and develop their new website.

TAG spent 3 months in the research and development of website solutions for Dunlopillo. In this particular case, the site is fully CMS-driven (using PHP and MySQL database) allowing the customer to add dealers to their distribution network.

Furthermore, dealers each have their own secure access to the site which enables them to add special offers, opening times, a video introduction to their store and photos.

The entire project took 3 months from start to finish - including extensive Beta testing - before rolling out across the UK network of dealers.

“What a wonderful excuse to get a good night’s sleep,” joked Simon Wheeler, Account Director at TAG. “At the heart of TAG’s success is our determination as a team to really understand our clients and the products. With a record breaking year in 2010, and more client wins than ever before, I think the team were hoping these new clients would be the perfect excuse for a bit of well earned kip … all in the name of research of course!"

You can see the site at www.dunlopillo.co.uk.

TAG and IDDT help people living with diabetes

TAG, one of Cambridgeshire’s leading graphic design agencies, has created a patient passport on behalf of the Insulin Dependent Diabetes Trust (IDDT) to help people living with diabetes communicate vital information about their condition to hospital staff.

People with diabetes can experience serious health problems, which, in extreme cases, can result in hospitalisation.

They are prone to hypoglycaemic attacks leading to unconsciousness meaning they are unable to communicate with healthcare professionals about their condition or medication.

To help prevent problems worsening due to a lack of information, IDDT came up with the idea of a free patient passport and commissioned TAG to create this much-needed tool.

The patient passport will be made available to all 12,000 of IDDT’s members and the charity hopes that everyone who receives a copy will carry it on their person at all times.

Should patients be hospitalised, they would be encouraged to hang the passport at the end of their beds so that hospital staff are aware of important information about their condition.

Simon Wheeler is Account Director at TAG. He said: “We were delighted to be commissioned by IDDT to design and produce the patient passport.

“It’s a fantastic idea that we hope will be hugely beneficial for patients and healthcare professionals and we’re proud to be a part of this worthwhile initiative.”

Jenny Hirst, Co-Chair of IDDT said: ““As a patient focused organisation we are really concerned about the recent figures that show the high numbers of people in hospital with diabetes or diabetes-related conditions.

“At any given time at least 14% of the adult population (in England) who are being treated in hospital have diabetes.

“These are shocking statistics and highlight to us the need for greater patient support when they are admitted to hospital.

“Our new patient passport provides all the details of the patient’s diabetes and how they manage their treatment.

“This is essential information for hospital staff and will help them to treat the patient immediately and effectively, minimising any further harm.”

The patient passport was launched officially at IDDT’s annual conference on 9 October in Birmingham.

The passport allows people with diabetes to record information about their diet including any allergies, their medication, warning signs of low or high blood sugar levels, and when their blood sugar levels need to be tested.

Diabetes is a complex condition which requires careful management and IDDT hopes that the patient passport will help improve the lives of those living with diabetes.
